Staff very friendly. Location was superb. Only a 5min walk to the heart of Cat Ba (which comes alive at night). Very nice room with a view over to part of the town. Especially beautiful at night. Small roof terrace was great to chill and have a beer after a long day (supply your own as no bar). I'd recommend booking a boat trip to Lang Ha Bay / Ha Long Bay through the hotel. Very cheap and well organised. And our guide, Tilo, was superb! 10/10 stay!

Jenny was incredibly helpful and kind throughout our entire stay. She always remembered our names and made us feel at home. We decided to stay an extra night and were accommodated without any hassle. They go the extra mile in making sure your trip is enjoyable, such as informing you of local activities and they arranged for a bus to come and pick us up on our day of checkout (to Hanoi for us). The room is very clean and the bed, comfortable. You receive bottled water, free of charge, and fresh towels daily. Our view of the mountain and lake was beautiful. We could not recommend the Boa Phuc Hotel more and if we stay in Cat Ba again we will absolutely be rebooking with them.

Staff were lovely! Super helpful. The owner contacted me before arrival and advised us with ferries and had a taxi waiting at the port to bring us to the hotel. We felt it was the perfect location for us, easy to get everywhere. The area is very walkable from the hotel but I know you can arrange for cheap bike rentals from the hotel staff if you prefer. The room was spacious and bright and very clean.

The hotel is very comfortable and clean. It is in the city center. Jenny, the hotel manager, was so nice. She helped us with booking bus tickets and a day tour to the national park with a guide. Great breakfast is included.
