The host was simply fantastic It was like staying with your grandma. She was lovely and carrying. The room was big, the bathroom was good with hot shower There was a patio where you could just chill out.

Perfect host who assisted us with local attractions, places to dine and how to get around the town. Also advised us there was no bank or atm in the town. Great full breakfast where some of the treats was handmade by Paula. B&B Grotte is in a perfect location half way between the historic centre above where the castle lies and the marina below where you can swim or take a boat tour. It's an old fashioned stay with a wonderful host in Paula.

The location of the b&b is great, close to the beach, close to the castle, close to the belvedere and close to the shop and the pharmacy, so you can just park your car for the day and forget about it. The owners, and particularly Mrs Paola is adorable. She likes speaking with her guests and always suggests places to visit around. The rooms are all the same size, pretty wide and comfortable bathroom, all with Aircon. It's very very clean, Mrs Maria was cleaning everyday relentlessly and always wishing "good morning" with a sweet smile, what a way to start your day! The breakfast is rich and different everyday. You find fresh sweet products from the bakery (cakes, apple Tarte, croissants, pasticciotto etc) and some from shops (branded muffins, branded biscuits etc). You find fruit and savoury food such as focaccia, bread, ham, salami, cheese, tomatoes salad ... You can have fruit juice, coffee and all kind of teas! Amazing choices! Can't disappoint! There is a private garden to the b&b and it's nice to use it to take your coffee in the morning or drink your tea in the evening. You can also hang your wet clothes there as they provide you with airers.
