This hotel was located at the end of an impressive tree lined entrance. An old building with heaps of character,staffed by a genuinely friendly and helpful staff. There was an impressive evening meal menu.

Staff were extremely friendly. Lovely family run business. They were renovating their function suites at the time ehich will be a fantastic addition to the hotel. There was no noise though. . Location was beautiful. Plenty of space to let our dogs go off-lead for a run. Food was great. Husband particularly enjoyed his curry. Room F was spacious with big soft blankets to cover beds from dogs provided and it was a nice touch to have the Scottish Tunnock bars.

Booked this hotel because of its proximity to an event we were attending. I look to book small family run friendly places and this was that. Made to feel welcome from minute one and nothing was any trouble. We found the menu and food choices were ideal.
