The location is remote and private. The staff are welcoming, accomodating and happy to chat. The rooms are modern, clean with excellent A/C (try to book a room with a balcony). The beds are comfortable and there is complimentary water in the mini-bar. We stayed 3 nights and wish it could have been more..I recommend more than 1 night to take advantage of the location. There is an east facing private beach with sun beds and umbrellas. The breakfast is very impressive, with lots of choice and unlimited coffee. The restaurant does excellent ravioli, chianina and pasta with chingiale with a lovely wine list.

We had a lovely stay at the Polvese resort. The atmosphere on the island was quiet and relaxing, we visited the beach and walked around. The stuff was super friendly, spoke English, and the suite we stayed in was adequate for a family of 2 adults, and 2 little children. We stayed for 3 nights. The breakfast is very good, we chose to eat outside in the shade, it was great. You can park your car on the street or on the large public parking near the ferry for free. The ferry ride to the island takes about 12 minutes, the cost is 4.20 euro per adult. Bear in mind that the last ferry from San Feliciano leaves at 19:00
