The fine print
As per Colombia's tax laws, a 19% VAT will be charged to Colombian residents and nonresident that do not receive a PIP3, PIP5, PIP6, PIP10, TP7, TP11 stamp or TP12 visa upon entry to the country. This amount will be charged at the hotel as an addition to the quoted room rate. 19% VAT exemption only applies to room package rates.

We stayed for 12 days. Great water facilities for kids, use of both new and old hotel amenities, lots of security , medical help available for free, lovely grounds, direct access to a very open beach, good range of buffet food, helpful staff, and only a 10 /15 min drive to the airport and town.
