When booking 4 rooms or more, different policies and additional supplements will apply. A card will be required on check in for payment. Credit cards will be charged 48 hours prior to arrival and bookings made less than 48 hours prior to arrival will be charged upon booking. We went for breakfast met by a non national lady. She never told us it was self service, brought us a pot of tea and 25mins later she told us it was self service ( TEA COLD THEN ) We were not very happy to say the least.

Clean comfy rooms. Nice bar and restaurant. Good choice at breakfast. Friendly and efficient staff. We all had a great stay

We used Carlow as a base, to explore the area and extend my world tour of Ireland. Next week Clifton is the base.. I would use the Talbot Hotel again if iI was in the area..
