This is a wonderful little boutique hotel, set in beautiful grounds. Great if your looking for a peaceful & quiet stay. The common areas are well kept and they feel very pleasant to spend time in. Our room (The Oak) was beautifully laid out & freshly decorated. We also had a sneaky peek into one of the other rooms that wasn't occupied (The Willow) which was just as well laid out & also benefited from being recently decorated. Wouldn't have any hesitation going back and stay here.

Great location and a lovely place run by very friendly hosts. The proximity of M6 means that it is convenient but also, if one leaves the window open and is a light sleeper, morning motorway traffic can be noticeable. Great food at the restaurant.
