Convenient location with a quirky yet enthusiastic hostess. Single room was clean and comfortable with tea-making facilities and decent secure wifi. Easy to use key fob to get in and out of house and room.

Good location at the end of the Cumbria Way. Affordable accommodation with breakfast included and interesting interior design. The staff were kind and helpful, and the place was a nice spot to rest after finishing the trail. The only strange thing was that after my stay, I received a message from Booking.com saying I hadn’t shown up and asking me to explain why. That’s incorrect – I did stay the night, had breakfast, and left early to catch my train.

Great host. Lovely big room. Comfy bed. The big bathroom with a bath, was very much needed and appreciated. Great selection for breakfast. Close to the train station and centre of town. Beautiful park 10 minutes walk.
