Well what can i say what a fantastic lovely place to stay 5star perfect location perfect for walking into st Ives along the coast & bus stop just up the road for a day trip to Penzance. Lovely owners & Friendly.

Well, what can we say about Bay Dream. When we arrived, there was a parking space for the car, which was great, as the drive is used by the owners. When we went into the accommodation we found a modern, extremely clean living/kitchen area with everything we needed for our 4 night stay. We also had a welcome gift which included a small bottle of prosecco, a bottle of local beer and a pack of local shortbread biscuits (which were lovely). The decor was lovely and this was the same in the bedroom and the bathroom. The sofa was comfy and after putting the blanket on the sofa, Lola (our Daxi) loved being on there snuggling up to us. Not only was there a nice sized tv in the living area, there was also a nice sized tv in the bedroom, which we didn’t expect. The bed was very comfortable and the bed side lights were so good we’re going to get some ourselves! The shower in the bathroom was spacious and the shower power was great. There was a nice little private outdoor space at the back, with a small table and chairs if you fancy a drink in the sun. It was also good for Lola to go out for a nose around. The location was also excellent, a short walk from the train station where you can get a train to St Ives (3 minutes) for £1 each, or walk there using the coastal path, which has some spectacular views. It’s also a short walk to a local shop and pub, and a short drive to a Tesco. We can highly recommend Beck’s fish and chip shop (5 min walk) where we had two takeaways and the food was lovely (can highly recommend the cod goujons). Grant popped over to see us during our stay and he was very welcoming and wanted to make sure everything was ok. All in all we enjoyed our stay at Bay Dream and we’re considering going back again next year.
