“Already missing this perfect stay in such a special location”

We loved everything about this house, we were pleasantly surprised from the start, as we got in everything was tidy and decorated with good taste. We found a range of groceries, fruits and drinks that made for an awesome start to our stay. The place has everything and more than we could ask from a guest house, including indoor and outdoor games, an amazing pool with a deck overlooking the rainforest, barbecue and a terrace that is great for outdoor dining and enjoying the evening with our family to the sound of the forest fauna. Indoors, the kitchen has everything we needed, including a coffee machine and cooking utensils and basic groceries to prepare a meal. the bedrooms are well furnished and decorated with taste and the bathrooms spacious. The place is well situated, close to the grocery store, cafe and pub and activities such as the great reef tour operator "ocean safari" and beaches and bushwalks. We can't express enough how we loved this place and already miss being there. Cape Tribulation is such a special place on earth, and Alena is the perfect place to enjoy it!

The serene location of this property is hard to beat, especially sitting out in the pool cabana with a view of the tree canopies, watching the Ulysses butterflies and dragonflies dart around. The house is also amazing - Melanie has honestly thought of everything, from a fully functional kitchen, to mood lighting, to comfy couches to loads of hanging space for towels. We also appreciated the darts and other games to keep the kids entertained. As a special touch we also had tropical fruit, bread and Prosecco waiting for us in the fridge on arrival.

The house was in an ideal location at cape Tribulation close to everything we wanted to visit in Cape Trib. The host was very generous and provided us with a well stocked kitchen with eggs and bread and even alcohol. There was very comfortable bed linens as well. The towels were soft and lovely too. We enjoyed the garden and all the fun outdoor activities available. There was also Disney plus signed into the telly for the kids and they had a blast. They really thought of everything to give us a wonderful stay in Cape Tribulation.

It was in a beautiful, secluded location but still walking distance from the beach and activities. There were so many personal touches and it felt like home. Both the hosts were helpful and friendly. The treats in the fridge were a lovely additional touch. I highly recommend and would stay again for sure.
