The fine print
All payments made by American Express credit card applies the 5% commission in case of cancellations and refund. For security reasons, all guests must present the credit card used to book, otherwise the hotel will refund the deposit to the credit card used to guarantee their stay and guests will have to pay the stay total amount directly during check in.
The hotel will charge an additional fee of $72.62 Mexican pesos per room, per night. This is a municipal tax due to environmental sanitation to be paid directly at the hotel.Hotel does not accept USD cash paymentsGuests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. The hotel was small enough that it didn't feel over crowded and we had the use of the facilities in the Royal Solaris hotel next door so we were spoilt for choice. We had 5 restaurants to choose from which you booked a table for, up to 2-3 days in advance and if there wasn't a space available we could use the buffet restaurants. The food was excellent at all of the restaurants. The hotel staff could not do enough for you and were very friendly and attentive. Our room was spacious with a small seating area with a table and two chairs and the bathroom had a rainfall shower which was lovely. There was also lots of storage space for our clothes and other essential items. We had a safe and a tea/coffee maker in the room too. I needed some blankets to pad the bed by putting them underneath the bottom sheet and they arrived very quickly when I had requested them from housekeeping. The entertainment provided at the hotel was also worth seeing if you were able to get an early enough booking at a restaurant to be able to see the show at 2030 at night.

The rooms were excellent and huge and the atmosphere around the pool was fantastic. There were lots of food options to choose from which were all great. The cost of the hotel was very good for what you get. The pool bar was really good.

We had an amazing time at Gr solaris, staff was great, food was ok, the room was clean and bed comfy. They have great animations and the hotel is kid friendly. I loved it

Our stay at this resort was very enjoyable. There were plenty of activities to do, and the buffet offered a great selection of food. Our room was comfortable, but the showers lacked hot water—it was either cold or, at best, lukewarm. The bathrooms in the hotel definitely need more attention, but overall, everything else was great.
