Easy check in, good information package on the screen in the room, impressive building, lovely use of marble throughout - Room well appointed, spotlessly clean, comfy bed, breakfast was comprehensive choice & good quality products.

Excellent location in the town centre, convenient for exploring. Fantastic spa facilities, especially the thermal pool and rooftop pool — a real highlight. The hotel was modern, clean, and beautifully designed throughout. Breakfast was good, with a nice variety of options. The staff were very friendly and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable.

Excellent location in Buxton. We had a lovely room and lovely touches as it was my birthday. There was a card and a macron in the room (I doubt it was vegan as I’d mentioned my dietary reqs). But it was lovely. The spa was good but very hot and humid everywhere, unlike most spas where there are cooler relaxation areas. Some of the features were not working and the warm relaxation beds were crazy hot instead of a comfortable warm as they are supposed to be. So that was a shame. When I booked as I had a conversation online requesting a vegan breakfast. When I arrived I mentioned this again and there was no note, even though I also mentioned this when they rang me to confirm a week before. The breakfast itself was ok; the vegan sausages were cold and I had to send them back (they weren’t very nice either) and the portions were very small. I asked about dairy alternative yoghurt too and they said they had run out. This was a shame as I had given plenty of notice and expected some more breakfast options. All in all very nice but room for improvement with food and spa.
