Loved the classic stone cottage and period features - e.g exposed beams . We thought the location was very good - the short walk to the pub that served excellent food and had tables with views along the river was a real plus. Walks you can do directly from cottage are good. Easy drives (15-20mins) to Buxton, Bakewell and Chatsworth. Bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and well furnished. Kitchen/utility room were well equipped. Parking was tricky but doable with the adjacent cottages parking spaces occupied.

Well equipped , spacious house. Good location for local walks including along the river path. Nice to have 3 spacious double bedrooms with their own bathrooms. We enjoyed sitting outside on terrace to eat meals. House was cool in the hot weather.
