Resort Overview

Located 450 metres above Lake Lucerne in the canton of Nidwalden close to Lucerne, this 5-star hotel awaits you with a combination of modern comfort and a traditional Swiss ambience.
The Bürgenstock Hotel is located on the piazza, at the heart of the Bürgenstock Resort, next to the Bürgenstock funicular, which takes you down to the shipping pier (connections to Lucerne).
The resort sits on the Bürgenberg mountain and offers several restaurants with terraces, as well as panoramic views of the picturesque lake and the mountains of Central Switzerland.
The 10000 m² spa area features an indoor pool, 2 outdoor pools, 1 of which offers an infinity edge with breathtaking views of Lake Lucerne, 3 private spa rooms, 15 treatment rooms and a fully equipped fitness area.
The Hammetschwand lift, Europe’s highest outdoor lift and an Alpine golf course are in the immediate vicinity. The area offers guests in need of relaxation a whole range of excursion, hiking and mountain biking possibilities.
Throughout the stay, guests can enjoy the Bürgenstock shuttle boat to and from Lucerne, as well as the funicular, free of charge.

Services and facilities were outstanding. Reception staff and especially concierge were beyond excellent. In particular Alexandre Poco was amazing. He is genuinely the best concierge specialist I have ever come across and I have stayed in the best Hotels in the world for over 30 years. Please congratulate him and send him my sincere thanks!

Excellent location and great food. Under staff before 8am and the receptionist didn’t have very welcoming mood most of the time.
