The room was comfortable. Not the most clean but for a cheap hotel as a base acceptable. They wouldn't allow food in the rooms although there is a mini fridge in the room (unplugged and hid in a cupboard) and their website says you can have food in the room/food service. Bed was comfortable, extra pillows and covers in the wardrobe. Plenty of wardrobe storage space. Only downside being when it was windy the walls would creak quite a lot and any noise from other rooms and the corridor can be heard. Would have preferred simple touches like a kettle in the room, to be able to have a cup of tea at night. As I had to go down and sit downstairs each night to have a brew. Staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the spa is extremely expensive at 300 Lei an hour, which is around £50. £50 an hour is a lot and I wouldn't pay this, especially when therme is so big and much better value for money. Cheaper to go there for the day, so i didn't get to visit the spa which is what I actually booked the hotel for. A good hotel overall but could do with a big of extra care around cleaning and simple touches.
