Very funky decor with a retro vibe. My room was bigger than expected and very clean. Bed was super comfy, especially after campervanning for 2 weeks!! Staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was lovely. The town bus stops right nearby and you can walk to Mateos brewery.

I usually don’t review hotels but the Conti deserves a review. Whilst it’s the oldest hotel in Broome, so definitely has a retro vibe on the outside, the rooms and bar are all newly renovated. Very modern and clean feel with a choice of USB A and C charging ports next to your bed and even different options of pillows. The Bistro is excellent with a lovely patio area by the pool. The vibe was always welcoming and relaxed. The staff are a real credit too. So warm and friendly. You can also pay a little bit extra and get a later check out which was ideal for me with a late afternoon flight. Great value for money compared to the more expensive hotels like Oaks and Mangrove. The Conti is well located next to Matsos and is about a 10 minute walk to Chinatown.
