The location is excellent, both for the city centre and the train station. There are many cafes and restaurants within 5 minutes walk. The apartment has all the facilities needed and is very quiet at night.

Situated in a courtyard off the most beautiful and animated of Brescia’s three central squares the apartment is an oasis of quiet. It is so welcoming, comfortable and clean, more like a home rather than a holiday rental. In the big bookcase in the bedroom my favourite Elena Ferrante Neapolitan Novels. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped, with a lot of personal touches - not that we ever used more than a mug! Why would you when you have a rich choice of cafés, bars and restaurants on your doorstep? Our stay was made perfect by the owner Marina who recommended and booked a wonderful restaurant nearby for our arrival night (which we immediately rebooked) as well as one on Lago d’Iseo for our anniversary. She even offered to drive us to the car park in the neighbouring square on our rainy departure day. Our Brescia week was an all round enriching, exhilarating experience in a town full of treasures yet unspoiled by tourism.

Marina is an exceptional host. We have been too so many places but the assistance received was beyond expectation. Marina contacted us few days before our travel to ask if we needed any special arrangements, she gave us very detailed directions with pictures and train information on how to arrive at the accommodation from the airport. Marina texted at every point to make sure we were okay until we arrived at the accommodation. The location is amazing, right at the centre. Everything from supermarkets to restaurants to markets, stalls were within walking distance. The apartment was super clean, toiletries were provided. The bedroom has a very comfortable bed and a book shelf with plenty of books to read if you love reading like me 😊. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils; microwave, air fryer, toaster just to mention a few but I mean everything you will need in a kitchen is available. It felt like my own home. The place is very quiet; you will hardly hear any noise. The bathroom was very clean. There is a washing machine. There were maps and restaurants cards on the dinning table. Marina was kind to offer fruits. Marina recommended a restaurant for our evening date and told us to mention her name; awesome. The food was really nice. Check out was super fast and easy. We really enjoyed our stay in Brescia. Thank you very much Marina. We would definitely book your place again. We will highly recommend this place.

Everything was excellent. Superb location just a few steps away from the Duomo and yet very quiet being just off a side alley. The apartment was well furnished and had a very good kitchen. The local amenities were all close by and the main sites within an easy walk. The host, Marina, could not have been more helpful. All the trains from Bergamo were cancelled when we were at the station and Marina sent us details on alternative transport (by bus). She then picked us up from the station, which was extremely kind and much appreciated because of our long delay in getting to Brescia. We are looking forward to staying there again.
