“Swansong of holidays on Skye at Birdsong Cabin completes a lifetime of visits”

I have camped on Breakish Beach several times since I was 17 One man tent, water from the stream two or three nights until my Parents picked me up. Then at least four more annual camps with my parents in a trailer tent. Really good to see the cows and the bull are still allowed to roam the area. Mother kept in touch with Mrs Robertson in one of the first houses after the cattle grid for many years. Birdsong cabin lived up to its name usually 4.30 to 5.00 am. Being able to travel to Skye again was a real bonus for our first holiday in 7 years - both of us Aged 81 but 58 years ago this next August we had our honeymoon for 2 weeks staying at The Sligachan Hotel. Have returned several times since with our children and grandchildren. Skye is our favourite holiday place but I'm afraid distance driving ourselves has proved to be difficult this year.- so it may be our last visit so far North.

The whole experience was fantastic. Beautiful little cabin in glorious surrounds, with such friendly hosts. The finishing touch was a very thoughtful hamper, contained homemade scones, homemade jam, milk, bread and butter.

Perfect place to explore the rest of the island. Fantastic owner Flora very helpful and polite. A very tasty welcome gift.. The equipment of the house eceeded expectations. I highly recommend this place.

The location was amazing! Right near a beautiful beach with some shops fairly local. The cabin is so cosy for couples, its perfect.
