Great hostel. Lovely staff, always helpful. Nice and social although still quiet and controlled for those wanting to sleep. Clean and comfy room. Lots of showers and toilets to use on the floor. Couldn't be in a more convenient place to explore the city centre. Easy public transport connections to airport, bus stations and train station. Strong wifi.

1) The hotel staff are long-term travelers who volunteer at the hostel. They speak excellent English and are very helpful. 2) The bathroom is spacious, with separate shower stalls that include designated space for placing clothes. 3) There are a variety of activities—four or five each day—which are great for those who enjoy a lively atmosphere. 4) The hostel is located in the historic city center, making it very convenient to get around. However, the hostel itself is tucked away in a shabby alley, which may give first-time visitors a misleading impression of the city.

The staff is super welcoming and and it’s noticable they’ve worked hard to create a open and social atmosphere at the hostel. I’m a solotraveler and was only there for a night, so prepared to just chill by myself but instead I had a super time hanging out with my roommates and going over to wild elephants for the mutual dinner. It felt like you could strike up a conversation with anybody at whichever hostel and more would join in. The hostel (urban) itself is a bit run down but it’s clean, the showers were nice and the toilets too. Never used the kitchen but it looked alright. Also if you need a towel you can borrow one for free which was super! And the big prideflags in the common areas made me feel seen, safe and welcome :)

They were excellent! Friendly and helpful. They let me leave my luggage. At night I got hypothermia from being caught in the rain and they brought me a blanket in the room and offered me medication. Hot shower, clean bathroom. I didn't feel bad even though I had a mixed room. In the center.
