A lovely hotel in a quiet part of town- friendly and accommodating staff. Highlights of our stay included breakfast and dinner. Early check in and on site free parking were a bonus.

The room was beautifully appointed including the bathroom. Separate room for relaxation which included fridge and basic cooking facilities. Breakfast was excellent not only choice but also the quality was perfect

The staff were all very friendly. Having a separate lounge/kitchen was very useful as we were staying several days and could leave the bedroom uncluttered with coats, bags, etc. The food and service was excellent - lovely breakfasts and excellent dinners. The George is in a quiet area about 15 minutes walk from the town centre. We found it a great base for exploring the surrounding area by car.
