The hotel delivers on the basics, but the overall experience felt more like a high-turnover business operation than a welcoming stay. Check-in was quick, but lacked any warmth or personal touch. Staff interactions were polite yet distant, with everything handled in a mechanical, transactional manner. It felt like the kind of place designed for short, utilitarian stays—efficient but uninspiring. While the room was functional and clean, there was little sense of hospitality or attention to individual guests. Ideal if you just need a place to sleep and move on, but not the kind of hotel that leaves an impression.

Great location, just 5mins to Newbury Street, across from the excellent public library, and direct access to attached mall. Wonderful views of Charles River from the upper floors. Concierge were helpful and efficient. Bed was comfortable and large. The a/c worked well.
