The apartment was exactly per the online photos. The bedroom was bright and airy, the bed comfortable and clean. The adjoining shower large, clean, with plentiful hot water. Good supply of towels, which were fluffy and new. There was also shower creme and handwash. The kitchen had good cooking appliances, the fridge was large and clean, all necessary kitchen utensils were available and the breakfast bar comfortably seats four. The living area includes a sofa bed. The location is very central, with excellent transport links. Tramline A from the airport to Hôtel de Ville (400m walk away) took 30 minutes, costing €1.80. Tramline B is just 100m away, but many tourist sites are within easy walking distance. Carrefour minimarket is just 200m walk, or Auchan supermarket is 1km away, for all self catering needs, on bus or tram routes to Mériadeck. There are also many restaurants nearby. Communications with the letting agent were prompt, friendly and helpful. They confirmed the day before my arrival that the apartment was vacant and, due to my 9am arrival, could check in earlier than the standard time of 3pm, at no extra cost....a huge perk! Check in was hassle free, with a coded lock box at the front door containing the keys. On departure the cleaner arrived promptly at 11am and took return of the key (if leaving earlier you can simply return the key to the lock box). Free WiFi was provided (tho signal wasn't always great). The apartment is on a quiet road in what I considered a safe area. There are the usual city sounds, like sirens and bin lorries, but nothing disturbed my sleep. I thought this was an excellent apartment for a short stay, certainly for two people, four if necessary.
