The owner was very friendly and communicative. The room was very clean, comfy and nicely done. We loved the wine fridge downstairs! The breakfast was yummy. Also, lovely having a pool in such hot weather!

We had a fantastic stay. La Cabane D'Ambroise is about a 20 - 25 minute walk south of the city centre, you can get a bus but we enjoyed the stroll. We were hosted by Nicolas who was fantastic, polite and very welcoming. He had the perfect balance of hosting without being intrusive. Nicolas is able to host in French and English so my terrible french wasn't an issue. The accommodation is lovely, it is clearly a converted barn or storage space but they've done a fantastic job and the garden and pool are very picturesque. Breakfast is included in your stay and you are spoiled with fresh pastries, bread, meats, cheeses, cereal, yoghurts, fruit, eggs, etc and really made our day. From the airport you can comfortably get a taxi, but La Cabane D'Ambroise is easily accessible from the airport via public transport. Looking at other stays in the city, I really can't recommend this place enough, it is a short walk away from the centre and the value for money is great!

Rooms, breakfast, location and service were all amazing. Nicholas was so welcoming and happy to help with anything. The attention to detail of the room and breakfast made our stay better than we could have wished for and more. We would highly recommend La Cabane D'Ambroise.
