Our stay was phenomenal. The place is actually a winery, and the main building is from 14th century. The rooms, which they only have a handful of, are in an adjacent newer cottage. Our room had a fully equipped kitchen + coffee maker, and everything in it look really brand new. Even though we dined out several nights, it was nice to be able to use the kitchen to make a salad and charcuterie board a few of the nights for dinner and just chill. The room is air-conditioned, which was very handy for visiting in August. The owners were really nice, hospitable and enthusiastic, striving to make sure that we were comfortable, and giving advice on sight seeing etc. Upon arrival, they also handed us a pair of "Bolzano cards", which we used for bus rides withing the city, as well as for some local funicular rides and also for visiting the city museums. For those who are into wine, they have a tasting room with a wine cellar where they keep uncorked bottles of their own estate-produce wines. So you can go there any time and poor yourself a glass of wine, and then you just let them know so that they can add it up at the end of your stay. You can also hang out at the garden behind the cottage. They make some really good wines, and you can buy it right there if you wish.
