The location was perfect. Within a 5-15 minute walking distance from just about everything you could want, including the train station. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was great, a wide variety to choose from. I found my room to be quite spacious and somewhat luxurious (yes maybe the bathroom could do with a renovation, but there were no actual issues). A bonus for me was that my luggage could be left at the hotel after checking out so I could explore the city before flying out in the afternoon.

The hotel staff were very friendly and we had a room available earlier than check in. The location of the hotel is fantastic and only minutes from the station and the historic centre of the city.

Zanhotel Tre Vecchi was a Great Hotel. It was in a perfect location, you can walk to it from the Bologna train station and the main sights where down the same street the hotel was on just 5 blocks away. Breakfast was good, clean and fresh every day, the dining room is a little small but always in order and clean and the best part... the freshly made cappuccinos are endless. The photos on the website do not match the real rooms. The Rooms are Updated and Baths are Updated. The room was new, everything was new and the bathroom and full size shower was new and really nice. Mattresses were comfortable and the AC worked wonderfully.
