Great location, within historic centre. A 10 minute Walk via the portici down via San Vitale past the leaning torri Garisenda and Asinelli to Piazza Maggiore, and the Quartiniere district. The room was clean and basic but great value for money in such a great location. The staff were very helpful always willing to recommend where to eat and to buy a power bank, (I lost mine, probably on train from Venice. The staff also carried my bags up the stairs which was lovely.

No breakfast was possible. The owners would have been willing to arrange something with a local cafe, but as there are a multitude of good options on the doorstep and beyond, spread your wings and discover! I liked just that, the freedom to go out and explore from the outset. I also enjoyed the chats I had with the owners and the tips and advice both gave me.

Lovely athmosphere in a historical building with super helpful staff. No extra facilities but perfectly good for spending the night close to the city center for great value for money.
