The view from the balcony is beyond stunning. Many magical meals outside overlooking the beautiful valley. Simple chalet which was ideal for a 4 person family (note this would be a challenging place for toddlers). BBQ was great to have access to. Awesome location near lakes and mountains. Excellent hot water and satellite tv.

Fantastic location, charming cottage with great views on the beautiful Julian Alps and the village down in the valley. The garden is very large -> bring your hammock! There is a large terrace that stretches all along one side (the garden side) of the house and a huge table to eat outside, which we enjoyed every day. The house itself is very charming with a well equipped kitchen, nice living room with a huge dinner table and sofa that can be used as a bed, a clean and functional bathroom with nice shower. Upstairs there are 2 charming bedrooms: one with 2 double beds and a door opening to the upper balcony, the other with a double and single bed. The views on the garden and mountains from the bedrooms are very nice. There is an additional spare bed in the corridor upstairs. The host, Dusan, and his wife were very kind and helpfull. The house is situated in the woods, 2 min drive above the village (or 30 min walk) and there are no direct neighbors which gives truely a feeling of being in the nature and provides a lot of privacy. At the same time it is close enough to the village to get a few groceries or bread from the delicious bakery. in the village there is also quite a sizable supermarket and sports equipment shop that sells maps as well. The lake Bohinj, where we went for our daily swim, is only 10 mins drive away and the cable car to Vogel mountain 15 mins drive. There are hiking trails within 100 meters of the house and there is a nice 2 HR walk to a beautiful waterfall that you can do from the house.
