We recently stayed at this wonderful mountain cottage with 4 friends and had an excellent experience. The location is truly special, tucked away in the middle of the mountains and the forest, offering a serene and remote setting that’s perfect for those wanting to escape the usual hustle and bustle. The cottage itself has a warm and inviting mountain vibe that made us feel at home right away. It was spotless and well-equipped with everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to cozy bedding. The attention to detail really stood out, adding to the comfort and charm of our stay. Our host Tina was exceptionally friendly and responsive, ensuring that we had everything we needed and making us feel genuinely welcomed. Her hospitality added a personal touch that made our stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was using the cottage as a base to explore the beautiful Bohinj region. Its location allowed us to easily access the area’s stunning natural attractions while still enjoying the peace and quiet of a more secluded spot. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable retreat in the mountains. It’s a perfect blend of tranquility and convenience, making it an ideal choice for a getaway with friends.

Really nice place in the heights. No one around at night, it’s a safe haven! The property itself is amazing and the beds were really nice! A true pleasure to spend a couple of nights there!
dubsol “Tranquil peace in the middle of the forest”

The cottage is literally in the middle of the forest at the end of a 3-5km dirt road. Seemingly this road is used by hikers most of the time so we got awkward looks when driving up there in our car (what you are allowed to do if you are a guest in the guesthouse). Irrelevant to this, the whole area is amazing, pure nature. Once we have reached the cottage we got greeted by Tina and her family. They also run the hiking restaurant that is also present on the location. The dinner we got there was also very tasty. The site furthermore features a playground for kids and 2 friendly goats to "play with". Our children loved it a lot. Once the restaurant closes and everybody leaves the site, it is only you and nature, so it is total solitude. The night sky is amazing. The whole area features lots of activity options and places to visit, both for active or passive holidays. I can't recommend this place highly enough.
