A genuinely delightful hotel in a truly splendid location, ideal for those seeking a blissful retreat amid nature’s embrace, with the invigorating freshness of mountain air to revive the soul. The views are nothing short of breathtaking—provided, of course, you manage to secure one of the coveted front-facing rooms. If not, you may find yourself gazing upon the rather brooding, dark forest and precipitous cliffs at the hotel’s rear—a view less magical, shall we say. The valley vista from the front rooms is, quite simply, a magical spectacle to enjoy from the comfort of your room. Service here is impressively attentive, delivered by a charming and obliging staff who genuinely seem to care. The hotel’s interiors are modern, spotlessly clean, and tastefully appointed, though a discerning eye might notice a few small telltale signs of wear and tear—minor peccadilloes, if you will—that suggest the odd spot of maintenance wouldn’t go amiss on the road to five-star perfection. The spa facilities, included in the price, are a genuine boon and offer a wonderfully relaxing escape. The beds, meanwhile, are sumptuously comfortable—you’ll sleep like a log, lulled by the tranquil silence, occasionally punctuated only by the gentle sounds of the great outdoors. The restaurant performs admirably, though it doesn’t quite reach the culinary heights one might expect of a five-star establishment. That said, the food is perfectly good, the service courteous, and the prices very reasonable indeed. Considering the hotel’s lofty luxury ambitions and its somewhat remote setting—far from alternative dining options—the cost of dining here is surprisingly comparable to what you might find in Pristina’s city centre. Parking is straightforward and free, a small mercy. The journey through Rugova Canyon from Peja to the hotel is undeniably scenic, though somewhat adventurous—twisting, narrow, and in desperate need of roadworks—which may test the nerves of even the most confident driver.

The view of the mountains. The Hotel is newly built and very well equipped. If you want a Hotel with everything in one place, with a Swiss Alps alike view, this is the place.
