The welcome package was a delight, lots of tasty treats and a chilled bottle of wine was a perfect way to start the trip. Really loved the big table in the kitchen, it ment you could socialise while cooking and play board games. The loft was a lovely chill out space and great for watching the ever changing weather over the top of the slate piles. The garden was very cute, shame the Welsh weather ment we could not have a fire-pit but still lovely for a morning coffee. The location made it very easy to explore.

For watching trains on the local railway, this location is second to none. We absolutely loved watching the locos and saying hello to Linda each morning as she was brought out of her shed. The little kitchen was great as was the shower. Not a massive fan of the staors as they were a bit steep for me but thats to be expected in a miners cottage! Owners were great and really responsive, would 100% stay again.
