When the Tioga Road is closed, it is not possible to drive to Tuolumne Meadows or enter Yosemite National Park from the east. All other park entrances, including those along Highway 120 from the west, Hetch Hetchy, Highway 140, and Highway 41, remain open all year.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Ok for an overnight sleep while travelling. The store at the gas station is good if you need a drink or some food.

We arrived after the office was closed and the staff arranged for us to still check in easily Clean well sized room - laundrette next door was great for us travelling Plenty of parking - great to wake up surrounded by snow topped mountains in 90 degree heat

The room we got was renovated and it was very clean. It has a coffee maker, a microwave and a fridge. The checkin is at the gas station so it is open until late. It has a supermarket. The price is good if we compare it to other hotels in the area.
