The location was good. However the pros end there. The pictures show a very clean and white aesthetic and comfortable large grey blankets. However, upon arriving, it was clear that the rooms were poorly maintained and the amenities, such as the fan (which had accumulated so much dust it was unusable without us cleaning it) and the bedsheets (which had brown dots and hair) were poorly cleaned. A single blanket was not even large enough to cover two people on the bed and they had opted to use two blankets to make up for that issue on one bed which I have not seen before. The check in process requires you to make a half hour appointment and no self check in was available which was quite inconvenient.

The apartment was well located within easy walking distance of a small supermarket and a number of cafes and restaurants as well as the tram and train network. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom modern and well equipped and everything was very clean. The property is on two stories and sits behind a street facing apartment block which you have to walk through to get in and out. This meant that there was no street noise and the property felt quite secure.

Great location, friendly host and comfortable apartment. The apartment was spacious, clean and provided everything we needed. If we returned to Berlin with the same size group we would stay here again.
