Location - being very close to a tram line and a U bahn made transport to and from the hotel very easy. The situation near the Gedenkstätte Documentation Centre was fascinating, so much history. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel garden was wonderful, a peaceful and beautiful oasis.

The garden is a green oasis in the heart of Berlin. So much so that we preferred to sit in it rather than go sightseeing all the time. Somebody loves and cares for this garden. The hotel itself is most comfortable, has fine breakfasts, good evening meals and spacious rooms. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is no aircon in the bedrooms but that’s ok with the fan. Altogether a very enjoyable stay, thank you.

A nice hotel at a historic location. A big hotelgarten were you can sit and relax after a long day. Haven't used the breakfast and restaurant. The room was fine with two seperate beds and a large bathroom. Situated at the front facing North so it was not to warm at the end of the day. Three big windows that could open all the way so ventilation was no problem!
