good location, good breakfest (not included). This hostel is much better than other Popular Berlins Hostel (like A&O, meinenger, generator)

Nice hostel, I didn't get too lucky with my roommates (all 50+ ish?) and only stayed one night so it was a bit of a hit or miss for the social part. But the bed was nice, the room spacious and clean. It's a bit outside of the center, but I walked pretty much everywhere and it was fine. Also the metro is close by.

The Grand hostel was named appropriately. It is a beautiful and well maintained heritage building built in the late 1800s. I found it very clean with large high ceiling rooms. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It was very quiet sleeping. Its about a 30 minute walk from all the historic sights of Berlin. Although there is a market right across the street, I found the all you can eat breakfast was exceptionally great for only an extra €10 dollars. I cant say enough wonderful things about this hostel!

Besides the fact that it was a room for 8 people it was really spacious and clean. The interior of the whole hostel was nicely renovated.
