Wonderful hosts with inspiring life stories, and a beautiful house that has been lovingly restored. We ended up staying an extra night and slept in the museum room – it was incredible. The best sleep I have had in a long time. Definitely something you have to try! The place is simply dreamy. Just one note: to be rewarded with the stunning views, there is a short but steep walk uphill through the little alleyways with your luggage – but it is absolutely worth it.

It can be a bit of a sweat to get up there with your luggage since it's located high up in the old town but it's totally worth it since it's a beautiful house with fantastic views, a nice, clean room and very nice and welcoming hosts. Make sure that you visit their little museum and let Sazan share his knowledge about the albanian language and history. Very fascinating and good raki!

We were quite comfortable staying here and slept well every night. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked really well to cool us down quickly after sightseeing on very hot days. The hosts, Sazan and Maria, were nice and friendly. It was like we were staying with friends. Sazan has a beautiful private museum at the house. The only regret was we did not have time to properly look at it as we had to leave before our car park time ran out.

Really friendly people, and knowledgeable about Albanian culture and its place in European history. Quaint little museum as well. The owners took great care in designing the room and used quality materials and furniture, which was noticeable! The owners renovated the house themselves, and it's ready to stand the test of time for years to come. Albanian hospitality at its best.
