Excellent facilities, the entire hotel feels like new and everything is very clean. Breakfast buffet is incredible, a lot of variety. We booked for dinner and the food was outstanding. Occupancy was low because of low season (Mid May) so we were very comfortable during our stay. Onsen facilities are very nice, clean and well equipped.

Everything!! This was my second trip to Beppu after 8 years and I've decided to stay in Kannawa and it was the best choice ever. I'd say that the highlight of this hotel was the staff. They were just incredibly friendly and lovely. Everyone was smiling genuinely and was just super nice and helpful. The location was absolutely perfect too, right next to the main hells and 5min from the bus station (I took a taxi though coz of heavy luggage). Taxi ride to the station was pretty cheap anyway and I'd recommend it to the bus ( only about $7). Room was very spacious and had nice view over the mountains and I got to watch a sunset too!! They also have 3 private onsens which is bonus but the public one are really good and I love it. Thank you so much for the lovely stay! Oh and there was this lady that was looking after the floor and she was super cute and lovely too!

A very short walk from most of Beppu's Hells. Very welcoming and helpful stuff. Was a bit confusing getting to the rooftop onsen, but it was worth it
