Owner is very nice and helpful. She really makes the place wonderful. House onsen is good if you do not like to go to public one. Jigokudani walk is very close. Room is super big and futon very comfortable. House is old Japanese but very nice.

Miho was a lovely host who went out of her way to help us enjoy Beppu and our stay with her. She even drove us to one of the seven hells as it was raining!

Our host was really helpful and flexible with us, we arrived a bit later than expected and we were drenched by the rain and hungry. She offered to bring us to the nearest convience store with her car. Our host then offered us use of a private bath, really nice of her! The rooms were spacious and had comfortable futons to sleep on. The guesthouse is located near some popular onsen spots in Beppu. Also there's a cute dog!

We loved this place. The host is super friendly and helpful! She helped us to reserve onsen visits. The room was great, an we loved the Kannawa onsen area. Not very many restaurants open in the evening nearby, but some were within walking distance. You have to take the bus to go to city center but it goes frequently and takes only 20min
