One of the most beautiful guesthouses we’ve ever stayed in – it truly felt like something out of a fairytale. Wild Tree Lodge in Johannesburg is absolutely magical. The entire place is incredibly charming, spotless, and perfectly maintained. The staff were absolutely wonderful – warm, welcoming, and attentive. The owner is fantastic, and you can feel the love and care put into every detail of the house. Breakfast was a highlight: the toast with eggs and bacon was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had in my life. Everything about our stay was perfect – 5 stars without a doubt. Just a 5-minute walk away is the Korsman Bird Sanctuary – a peaceful, breathtaking lake surrounded by incredible nature. You’ll see some of the most beautiful birds and wildlife – it’s truly a hidden gem. The whole area is quiet, relaxing, and full of stunning homes and scenery. Highly recommended – we can’t wait to come back!

Owner/Manager was helpful and warm. Although We spent very little time to actually enjoy the facilities, it was very peaceful, and well maintained. She went extra mile by packing us some food for our flight at 6 in the morning.
