We stayed there on our way out of town, and also on our return. The first night was in one of the ordinary rooms, the second night we were upgraded to the presidential suite. Oh gosh, what a difference it made! If your budget allows, definitely rather stay in the larger rooms. Nothing wrong with the standard rooms, but the space and luxury makes such a difference. The fact that you can have dinner in the restaurant and don't have to leave the premise, makes for a more relaxing stay.

Great breakfast freshly cookrd to order plus any fruits juices, bakery you wanted We oved the location, just 10-15 minutes from the airport but you felt well away from the crowds, we had a lovely walk round the lake spotting lots of bird species. It is now top of our list for spending a night in Jo'burg if arriving morning/afternoon.

The whole experience from concierge to chef, cleaning staff, security, etc was wonderful. The Hotel is beautiful, rooms super luxurious and the view over the lake is spectacular.
