This pousada is ideal for those who love stunning views, nature and birdwatching. We saw nightjar, booted eagles and hoopoes here. The facilties are lovely, with plenty of gorgeous rooms to sit and relax in. You get a real sense of history. Breakfast is copious, including mini pasteis de nata, scrambled eggs, bacon, tomatoesand mushrooms. Friendly helpful staff.

Loved the size of the pool. Easy to walk from the hotel in to town. Spectacular breakfast. Beautiful huge terracotta pots in the gardens.
