Beautiful house, helpful host, close to centre, room was very nice, comfortable and clean, parking for our motorbike and a lovely breakfast in the morning.

Located in a rather unprepossessing run of post war houses in a quiet road literally 3 mins walk from the cathedral and the main town square - restaurants and bars . Identified only by a small plaque by the front door ‘ Au cour de Beauvais ‘is absolutely excellent . The owner, who opened the door (though only having a smattering of English ) was charming and offered a polite and warm welcome to her home . We made our way up two flights of quite steep curving stairs but it was worth the effort . A top floor three bedroom apartment - a main double with sitting area with sofa and large tv plus second double bedroom plus a 3rd bedroom with single bed and cot decorated for children. On the floor below there is a comfy sitting room and kitchen with a dining table shared with another large double bedroom on that floor that is offered for rental too. The ensuite bathroom has been imaginatively fitted out in bright colours , with walk-in shower and a full sized bath plus both a washbasin for adult height and another basin set lower at child height . Everything spotlessly clean , immaculately and tastefully furnished . Our bedroom , the kids bedroom and the sitting room below are lined with shelves on which are literally dozens of good condition books and paperbacks suitable for all ages plus numerous games and puzzles guaranteed to keep anyone occupied if so inclined rather than watch the large Tv ! There is secure parking behind electric gates at the rear and all at a bargain price too . If you need accommodation in Beauvais it’s great place to stay ! It is certainly one of the best , if not the best and comprehensively equipped properties we’ve ever stayed in anywhere. It’s heartening to see how much obvious care and attention has been given to meeting the needs of travelers of all ages .
