Lovely property located on a quiet street in the historic centre of Beaune. The apartment was clean and stylish; we loved the beautiful original features and the expanse of light coming through the large windows. The weather was very hot but there was a fan in the main living/ sleeping area which helped. The hosts communicated well especially on our arrival giving us detailed information about how to access the property, all in good time before our arrival. Our favourite restaurant was literally 1 minute away at La Table de Guigone, 1 Pl. du Dr Jorrot. Fabulous food and a lovely host. We also hired e-bikes and cycled to Santenay along the cycle paths through the vineyards and small villages and towns en-route. Beaune is a great place to stay and if we visit again, we would definitely stay at La Tonnellerie.

We have stayed more than once and the place is very nice. Close to the center and still calm. We sleep with open windows and learned to shut the ones in room and open the window in the bathroom, then we got air and no noise. ( only noise by passing cars in the night )

Excellent location to enjoy a lively and very attractive town. Renting e-bikes to explore the vineyards is a must. Very helpful, communicative host. The apartment is easy to find and park nearby.
