You have to remember that this is a hostel, and for a hostel it had heaps of space in the room and a large bathroom, it was exceptionally clean and though I personally never met the staff, they were wonderful to communicate with via booking.com. The location is a lovely drive down a country road, you get to see a loch and some cute coos.

Easy self check in. Key was in a key box I booked a single room and as a solo traveller I was a bit anxious after reading the reviews. This is a hostel. My room, room 2 was lovely. Very clean, bed was comfortable and I had a choice of 3. Room was large and the bathroom was too. Spotless. Shower was excellent after a long day hiking. Good location for Drumnadrochit and getting to loch affric. Highly recommend hiking round there. This was why I returned as I had previously hiked the affric kintail way and fell in love with the area. BCC hostel is a budget friendly hostel with the right facilities for your stay. I had a mooch around at the pods etc and ill definitely be back. My chocolate labrador loved it. I'll be back
