Wonderful flat in the best central place of Batumi. Absolutely clean, spacious, high and designed ceilings, full kitchen, washing machine with washing powder, balcony with view to central buildings. And very friendly woman who spoke a little English plus another woman (daughter?) with more English. The woman speaks also Russian. But to you, people from Russia: please learn at least a few words Georgian and respect that the people of Georgia do not always want to speak a language of a country, that brought war to it several times. Don't take this personal, I met very different Russians here and all my life. But sometimes I felt ashamed when some Russians treated the people here like second class, almost like in colonial times. Just ask the people in Georgian, if it's OK to talk in English or maybe in Russian. (I'm Matthias, 50, from Berlin, learned Russian in WESTERN Germany, went to Russia for months, have Russian friends, read Dostijevski in Russian and love the Russian culture and people. But with all respect and not believing western media: The war in Ukraine is against international law (like USA in Irak) and it kills 10.000 civilians, woman, children on purpose, and Russian soldiers torture and rape systematically, it throws Russia back for 100 years, and has catastrophal consequences for Ukrainians also for 100 years, in my opinion.

The host was very nice and friendly, she didn't speak much English but her son was available to contact on the phone for any special questions. The place is close to the Batumi botanical gardens, with the possibility to go there on foot, it is also close to the beach!
