Very nicely renovated city-centre apartment in an old, listed building with a suitably equipped fitted kitchen. Inevitably „vintage“ windows which do not close tightly, as is nationwide standard in the UK. Dishwasher and washing machine were useful, though the tumble drying facility of the latter appeared a bit inefficient. Flexible self-service check-in by code is fine, though instructions could have been a little more clear or detailed, but friendly help was available via phone. Parking in nearby Southgate worked fine with number-plate scan; no paper ticket needed. Just drive in and out, as long as your number has been logged by the owner beforehand. Just 5min walk, but make sure your luggage has wheels. Very nice and helpful owners who also run a shop in the neighbourhood. Get your supply of English wine and cheese there.

Perfect location, really central. Done out really nicer. Comfortable beds and spacious. Owner was so lovely and helpful.
