The location was excellent and staff were helpful. Reception staff all nice and enthusiastic but very young and seemed inexperienced. The bar area was nice, lovely glasses but very small and a bit cramped. Car park out of action so we had to pay £20 to use a public car park. Dogs were an extra £60. Breakfast wasn’t included. The room was nice but we couldn’t turn off the fan which was a bit annoying. The location was excellent and it’s a lovely building. The bed was comfortable and lots of coffee which was great.

A lovely hotel with very nice staff (the doorman is a star). Although the hotel was being refurbished the staff made every effort to minimise the impact. Rooms good. Great location. Excellent breakfast. We liked it!
