The property was very spacious and clean. The host was super welcoming and friendly, including welcoming us with some local rhum, line and sugar to make our own ti’ punch. The view was beautiful and the gardens were so nice to wonder in.

The location is superb for exploring Basse-Terre by car. The view from the balcony / living area is exceptional too, so we were never in a rush to leave in the morning! The gîte is a well appointed, cosy retreat. It's only a few minutes drive from the Monoprix so it's very easy to buy nice food & wines for a night on the terrace after a long hike. Our hosts were charming and warm.

Excellent accommodation and charming hosts. The gites in the grounds of their beautiful garden has magnificent views right down to the sea, several hundred metres below.
