The staff were great. It was close enough to walk to the parade and block party for Carnaval but some others wouldn't think so.

We visited during the carnival and were lucky to find something so budget friendly, so obviously our expectations weren't super high. The hostel itself is quite nice, I have no complaints about the room. Bed was good, room was clean, AC was functioning. Perfectly sufficient for a place to sleep.

The lunch at the hotel's restaurant was very tasty.
