I stayed at the Residence Hotel Moderno for one night at the beginning of my trip to Puglia. The location is pretty good...it's about a 10-minute walk to the Bari train station and then 25-30 minutes to the old town. All the staff members I interacted with were extremely nice and helpful.

Good and efficient hotel close to Bari train station (15 min walk). Clean and good beds. Lobby is spacious and could serve as a working area. Wifi is good, breakfast is good for Italian standards but not very extensive. Private parking available and spacious It’s not a hotel for a romantic getaway but other than that recommendable.
“A practical and secure place to stay”

The biggest plus was definitely the secure, locked parking spot. Knowing our car was safe gave us real peace of mind, especially as we had luggage and valuables inside. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, with all the basics we needed for a short stay. While it wasn’t particularly memorable in other ways, the convenience of having guaranteed parking made it a solid choice for a road trip stopover.
