Breakfast was great, staff was great, room was incredibly clean. Everything was just amazing - my children have told me numerous times that they would be happy to move and live there.

Rooms were very clean. Bed was comfortable. Great view of ocean from the balcony. Balcony was private. Bistro was amazing. Breakfast had plenty of variety. About a 5 minute drive to downtown Bar Harbor. Looking forward to staying again.

The place is wonderful and great, great breakfast, the place is calm, lovely and very beautiful. There was only one problem, we took the room facing the sea on the first floor and there were constantly unpleasant smells from cooking in the kitchen, including the smell of gas. When I contacted reception about it, they said there was nothing they could do. It was impossible to sit on the balcony facing the sea because of the smells from the kitchen. We do recommend the place, but not the rooms near the kitchen. Ask in advance to be away from the kitchen. We didn't know that, so we didn't ask in advance and the place was fully booked
